And We Danced DJ Entertainment had an entertaining night celebrating the marriage of Justin and Kayla at Toftrees Golf Resort. All present enjoyed the sundown marriage ceremony on Toftrees’ green uniting Justin and Kayla. Kayla wore a sleeveless, mermaid style wedding gown while her bridesmaids were adorned in sleeveless, navy blue gowns. Justin and his groomsmen looked dashing in in their gray ensembles. The parents of the flower girl and the ring bearer garnered attention as they held the little tykes in their arms while walking down the aisle. Justin and Kayla had beautiful, huge smiles on their faces as they faced the audience when being introduced as Mister and Missus for the first time.

The bride’s color scheme for the event was tropical greenery, navy, light gray and gold. Lauren Lucas of Winged Beauty Studio was the stylist for the bride and bridal party’s coiffure. Emily Rickard of Pocketful of Posies created the stunning bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages for the event. The arbor that the newlyweds stood beneath while exchanging vows was also arrayed with a stunning arrangement of white and greenery created by Emily. Melissa Stitzer of The Cakery crafted the wedding cake and cupcakes for the event. Guests the option of choosing a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter buttercream icing, a white cupcake with vanilla buttercream icing or a marble, almond flavored cupcake with vanilla buttercream icing. And We Danced DJ Entertainment was the performing artist for the wedding and reception proceedings.

The bride and groom began their night dancing under the stars to MAX’s Stipped/Acoustic version of “Lights Down Low.” The newlyweds met while working at the Penn Stater Hotel’s restaurant when the bride was a freshman at Penn State University. The couple were very nice when feeding each other a slice of wedding cake. They got a little naughty with the icing after pictures were taken. The traditional father/daughter dance occurred that night. A special moment put a beautiful smile on Justin’s face as he danced with each aunt for the nontraditional aunt/son dance. The couple ended the night with a spectacular sparkler sendoff.

Thank you Justin and Kayla for choosing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your wedding day festivities. Good luck in your new life as husband and wife!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of celebrating the marriage of Amber Miller to Brandon Dougherty at Earlystown Manor. Their reception followed their wedding nuptials which were performed by the godfather of the bride, Don Drass. Autumn is Amber’s favorite time of year, and she chose the season as the color theme for her wedding day. Amber wore a stunning Pine Ridge sleeveless, beaded, white gown with a white veil. Brandon sported a blue suit, white shirt and white tie. The bridesmaids were arrayed in teal, sleeveless gowns, and the groomsmen were attired with blue suits, white shirts and teal ties. Amber and her bridesmaids carried bouquets featuring white, burgundy and yellow flowers with taupe and brown floral accents. Brandon and his groomsmen were arrayed in burgundy and white boutonnieres.

Deb’s Creative Cakes and Decor crafted the beautiful three tiered wedding cake. CK’s Catering presented a delectable buffet for all to partake and indulge. Emily Lane of Emily Lane Photos was the wonderful photographer that captured the couple’s first dance and all the enchanting moments throughout the day and night. And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the stellar musical tunes for all to enjoy that night. Brandon and Amber began their night dancing to Ed Sheeran and Beyonce’s duet version of Perfect. A memorable moment occurred when Brandon escorted his mother, Donna Boring, to the dance floor for the mother and son dance. Donna has been confined to a wheel chair and spent six months working to stand for this moment. Brandon helped her stand up and they slowly danced in place to Nichole Nordeman’s Slow Down!

Brandon and Amber spent the night talking, laughing, kissing, snuggling and dancing together and with family and friends. They met and attended Cambria Heights together. It took Amber many years before she agreed to go out with Brandon on a date. They are best friends and cannot wait to see what the world has in store for them as a married couple!

Thank you Brandon and Amber for choosing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your wedding day festivities. Good luck in your new life as husband and wife!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the wonderful musical entertainment for the marriage and reception of Melanie Drake and Brandon Curtis at the McCann School of Art Fern Hill complex recently. Melanie wore a beautiful sleeveless, off-white bridal grown, and Brandon sported a light gray suit. The bridesmaid wore various shades of blue, teal, and green similar to the colors of sea glass. Melanie even made sea glass earrings for her bridesmaids to wear for the special day. According to Melanie’s grandmother, Melanie’s hobby is collecting sea glass. Brandon’s groomsmen wore light gray suits with pale blue vests.

Woodring’s Floral Gardens provided the beautiful pink and coral flower bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages for the day. Melanie and Brandon chose Dolce Vita Desserts’ chocolate cake with a hint of coffee as their wedding cake flavor along with lemon flavored white cupcakes. The frosting on the wedding cake depicted a stunning forest scene with coniferous trees and mountains. Paul’s Provisions furnished the luscious food for the event. Kimberly Wright of Kimberly Wright Photography was capturing those special moments between Melanie, Brandon, family and friends throughout the day and night.

Tyler Kleinle of TK Videography & Photography was constantly on the move securing the memorable moments of the day along with special wishes for Brandon and Melanie from friends and family members. And We Danced DJ Entertainment was 1,809 feet above sea level while providing sound, lights, emceeing and music for Katie Foytik and Kurtis Webb’s marriage and reception at Harrison’s Above the Valley Event Center in Centre Hall on August 11th. Katie wore a stunning off-white, sleeveless gown with a beaded bodice. Her sparkly, gold sequined tennis shoes were a marvelous pairing to her ensemble. Katie held a beautiful bouquet of light orange roses offset by a collection of white flowers.  Kurtis and his groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts.

Katie was escorted down the aisle by her father. Joshua Wallace of Milton, PA was the officiant for the ceremony. Katie was traditional for most of the ceremony, but she was untraditional for the recessional. She surprised her husband by having And We Danced DJ Entertainment play “Fly, Eagles, Fly” for the recessional, since Kurtis is a BIG fan of the Philadelphia Eagles . When he heard the beginning of the song, his jaw dropped, and he quickly turned to Katie with a stunned expression! Before leaving the room, he shouted E-A-G-L-E-S at the end of the song and left to take some stunning photos with the view at Above the Valley!

Kurtis and Katie met through a social app. Her theme for the wedding was gold, white and pink. Dolce Vita Desserts provided an enticing array of cupcake flavors for the event along with the beautiful white cake that Kurtis and Katie cut together to celebrate the day. Shannon Susi was the photographer for the Foytik-Webb marriage day.

While Kurtis and Katie were preparing to feed each other a piece of cake, the crowd was asked if the couple would be nice while feeding each other the piece of cake. Kurtis and Katie were not nice and had icing smeared on their faces. And We Danced asked if they would kiss, and Kurtis promptly made sure that Katie had more icing than he did while kissing!

Thank you Kurtis and Katie for allowing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your marriage ceremony and reception. Good luck in your new life as husband and wife!

A couple met in line while waiting for their local Best Buy to open its doors on Black Friday. They got married the following year there!  Another couple met while working at Sam’s Club and decided to have their big day at Sam’s Club followed by a reception in their snack bar area. This might seem like a joke, but brides and grooms are choosing to host their wedding and reception at very nontraditional venues. And We Danced DJ Entertainment has had the opportunity to serve couples in many nontraditional settings, but we haven’t yet had the opportunity to provide sound, music, and lights at the local grocery store or tire service.

Many couples are deciding to ditch a normal setting for something that means more to the couple. Did you meet at a rock concert? Rent the venue for your wedding and reception. Meet at camp? Rent the camp for your big day. Many of these venues realize that a wedding is an important milestone in the life of a couple, and the couple will have a significant moment and memory in the nontraditional venue of their choice.  Nontraditional venues are excited to work with couples to help make their day special.

Besides music and sound, why not add a special photo booth to the mix while marrying at your local food store!  All would enjoy a great gift of a picture with the bride and groom in the nontraditional setting. It would be an event that will not be forgotten and dearly remembered in years to come.

So, if you met at the local pizza shop and spent time going to the eatery together with touching moments together at the shop, why not rent the place and hold your wedding inside!  Pizza loving guests will sign your guest book while grabbing a slice of pizza and toasting your big day.  Call, text or email today with your wedding date and nontraditional venue, and And We Danced DJ Entertainment will gladly enhance your special day!
