And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided ceremony sound and reception entertainment for the marriage of Karlee and Joshua held at Robbins Paradise Ranch in Julian, Pennsylvania. The happy bride was united in marriage by Wendy Kramer. Karlee was garbed in a white, sleeveless, lace. and bauble gown from Formalities. Her attendants were attired in cinnamon, sleeveless gowns. Joshua and his attendants wore dashing blue suits.

Rishel’s Catering staff presented the guests with tempting hors-d’œuvres, and a magnificent buffet. Pocketful of Posies created the beautiful bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières. Delectable Delights by Heather Luce crafted the wonderful wedding cake featuring Joshua and Karlee’s pets. The traditional Pittsburgh cookie table along with homemade donuts were available for guests to partake and enjoy. The piece de resistance was the arrival of the Classic Cones ice cream truck. Everyone had an opportunity to create a sundae, eat a swirl of ice cream, or partake in a special ice cream creation. Jessica Rae captured those beautiful and glorious moments between the happy couple, family, and friends throughout the day and evening. Monarch Salon fashioned Karlee, her attendants, and mother’s hair for the event. Guests were busy behind Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths Baby Blue camera throughout the night. Folks were adjusting and changing props while the camera captured their memorable moment

Joshua and Karlee made history dancing to Papa Roach’s “No Matter What.” The happy couple danced throughout the night with family and friends. Joshua and Karlee tossed the bouquet and garter, danced with folks in the traditional dollar dance manner, and had a spectacular bubble sendoff. The night ended with the happy couple alone on the dance floor with The Maine’s “Your Still The One” which illustrated the entire day.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment At The Penn State Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity Welcome Reception

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of providing music for the Penn State University Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity’s All Campus LGBTQ+ Welcome Reception held in Alumni Hall located in the HUB-Robeson Center. The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity had a wide range of representation for students to explore such as Penn State Counseling and Psychological Services, Centre SAFE, and the Centre LGBTQA Support Network, door prizes, and everyone’s favorite, food.

Each year the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity hosts this epic event for new students and peers. This year, the number of students, faculty, and staff was astronomical. When the doors opened, music, provided by And We Danced DJ Entertainment, invited people into the welcome reception. The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity staff and peers had the hall decorated with balloons, people could spin the wheel to win a prize, and all were able to sit, relax, enjoy a snack, and talk to peers.

Sonya Wilmoth, director for Penn State University Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, and Eric Duran, Assistant Director for Penn State University Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, were welcoming people as they entered and encouraging everyone to explore the diverse environment that exists at Penn State University.

Sonya Wilmoth is the third director for Penn State University’s Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity. She began working for the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity as a part-time assistant director when the center was named LGBTQA Resource Center in 2013. Sonya has had the privilege of working under the center’s two previous directors, Allison Subasic and Brian Patchcoski. Her role is to oversee the center’s range of programming, education, and advocacy services for the Penn State community.

Eric Duran joined the Penn State University Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity in June 2019. He is the program coordinator for the center. Eric has created diverse social engagements for old and new students to learn about the center, become involved, and enjoy meeting among peers.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment At The Wedding Of Casey and Sadie

And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided ceremony sound and reception entertainment for the marriage of Casey and Sadie held at the Brookmere Inn and Wineries. The happy brides were united in marriage by Bonnie Kline-Smeltzer. Casey was garbed in a white, three quarter length sleeve, lacey, bridal gown while her hair was adorned with a wreath of flowers. Sadie was garbed a black lace, with a gold undertone, sleeveless gown with a chaplet of flowers in her hair. Both brides wore bridal gowns from Ava Laurenne Bridal. Casey and Sadie’s attendants were attired in a rainbow of whimsical, rich earthy colors such as forest green and ocean blue which were inspired by their theme, The Lord of the Rings.

Harrison’s Eatwell Catering staff presented the guests with tempting hors-d’œuvres and a magnificent meal. Avant Garden created the beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and wreaths. Dolce Vita Desserts crafted a colorfully gorgeous wedding cake, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes. Donuts were also available for guests to partake and enjoy. Claudia Harris captured those beautiful and glorious moments between the happy brides, family, and friends throughout the day and evening.

Casey and Sadie made history dancing to Howls Moving Castle’s “Merry Go Round of Life.” The happy brides did not perform the traditional parent dances, but they chose two special songs that guests could dance with a parent or child symbolizing the parent dances. Casey’s brother, Ben, performed a few songs with his band, the Blue Chickens, an up-and-coming State College group. The arrival of Dr. Lawrence Keener-Farley, Dance Master, for the Civil War Dance Foundation and members provided an entertaining hour of Civil War dancing. Guests were taught to line dance to a variety of songs that had people laughing, clapping, and enjoying the experience of nineteenth century dancing. The night ended with Bill Medley and Jennifer Warne’s “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” which illustrated the entire day.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment Joins Forces With Silent Sound System At Recent Silent Disco

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of DJing with Silent Sound System at the Pennsylvania Bus Association’s fun-filled Silent Disco reception at the Wyndham Garden State College. A Silent Disco is a music filled event with DJs mixing music and guests wearing headphones that minimize noise pollution and disturbance. Guests wear headphones and have access to three separate transmissions of music from three separate DJs. If they do not like the song on one channel, they may change to another and continue singing and dancing. The only people that know what is being played by the DJ are the people wearing headphones tuned into a specific channel. The colors seen on each headphone set indicate what DJ they are listening to at that time.

Silent Discos became popular during the nineties when raves were causing music disturbances to neighbors. Today, they are being utilized in a variety of businesses. A backpack is also available that provides the feeling of a subwoofer. The bass of a song is transmitted to a person wearing the backpack. So, the thumping beat can be felt even though no speakers are being utilized to transmit the music.

The Pennsylvania Bus Association is a nonprofit organization representing private bus companies. They represent the business and governmental interests of private bus companies that operate in Pennsylvania. One of their missions is to promote motorcoach travel through tourism or charter service. Each year they have an annual meeting. This year, Happy Valley Adventure Bureau helped create the four-day event with a variety of fun-filled experiences alongside business opportunities.

Each guest was given headphones to wear and taught how to tune into the three different channels. They then gravitated to the dance floor and began to dance. It was fun to watch the different colors on the headphones intermix on the dance floor. One person might be dancing to a song the blue channel and another on the red or green. It didn’t matter what color guests listened to at the time, but all were dancing and having fun.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment At The Wedding Of Jacob And Colleen

And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided music and sound for the nuptial ceremony followed by the wedding celebration of Jacob and Colleen at the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center. Jacob and Colleen were joined together by Reverend Stephen Hicks. The theme for the wedding centered around the fairytale Beauty and the Beast. Colleen was stunning in her off the shoulder, lace bridal gown from Allure Bridal, and she wore a gorgeous tiara reminiscent of Belle’s in Beauty and the Beast. Her bridesmaids were garbed dark red, off the shoulder gowns. Jacob and his groomsmen were attired in dark blue suits with dark red ties.

The Penn Stater’s Delyn Walker, Conference and Catering Manager, and her staff supplied the wedding guests with tempting hors-d’œuvres and a tantalizing meal. Evolve Studio LLC coiffed the bride, bridal party, bride’s mother, and groom’s mother. Boustany Film Company captured those momentous moments through pictures and video of the happy couple, family, and friends. Guests were busy behind Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths BIG red camera throughout the night. And We Danced DJ Entertainment kept the wedding couple and guests dancing the entire night.

Jacob and Colleen began their wedding celebration with Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Their first dance was followed by the special parent dances with the bride and groom. Once the dance floor was opened to guests, the lights were dimmed, and the music began to pull people to the dance floor. And We Danced DJ Entertainment crafted a phenomenal light show that showcased the music guests were tripping the light fantastic to on the dance floor, and the crowd requested two encores before officially ending the reception.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment At The One Blue Village Blue White Scholarship Breakfast

And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided musical entertainment at One Blue Village’s Blue White Scholarship Breakfast at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center prior to the Penn State Blue White football game. One Blue Village is a non-profit youth organization founded by Carmen and former Penn State football player Lee Rubin. The energetic couple had a host of celebrities supporting their efforts to raise money to help young, high school individuals empower themselves and further their education. Many of these fine individuals were present at the breakfast and voiced their happiness with the Rubin’s and One Blue Village’s efforts with programs to help promote them in being better individuals and obtaining promising job opportunities with either a trade school or college.

The One Blue Village event began with music provide by And We Danced DJ Entertainment, guests strolling around the silent auction full of Penn State football memorabilia, Lee Rubin remarking on the event, Dwayne Fitzpatrick’s invocation and moment of silence, following a meet and greet, and a delectable breakfast buffet. Once guests had a chance to enjoy their meal, Lee introduced the main speaker for the event, former American football tackle and former Penn State football alumnus, Garry Gilliam.

Garry spent time talking about his childhood leading up to attending the Milton Hershey School and finally attending Penn State and playing football. Today, Garry works closely with young individuals especially from his former school in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He tries to help these people engage in academics and athletics like the One Blue Village endeavor. Following Garry, a student spoke of One Blue Village’s work in helping him do well in school, find a job, and attending college in the coming future. Carmen and Lee ended the event with awards, the winners of the silent auction, and a thank you to all who have helped their non-profit organization.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment performed at the wedding celebration of Haley and Noah held at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The happy couple were united in marriage by Sarah Voight at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in State College, Pennsylvania. Haley wore a bewitching white, three-quarter length sleeved, lacey, and beaded gown from Formalities by Tracina Fisher. The theme for the event was fall coloring featuring brown, plum, and peach colors. The bridal attendants were garbed in delightful plum gowns. Noah and his groomsmen were arrayed in brown tweed jackets displaying a hint of orange and gray pants.

The Penn Stater’s Delyn Walker, Conference and Catering Manager, and her staff presented the guests with tempting hors-d’œuvres and a magnificent meal. Avant Garden created the beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and table arrangements. Delectable Delights by Heather crafted a gorgeous, tiered wedding cake with two white dogs as the top centerpiece. The featured dogs resembled the two dogs that are part of Haley and Noah’s family. The Mane Style coiffed the bride, bridal party, and bride’s mother. Bob Lambert captured those beautiful and glorious moments between the bride, groom, family, and friends throughout the day and evening.

Noah and Haley love the classic songs spanning from the 1960s through the 1980s in addition to modern classics. Haley belonged to a swing dance club in college, and many of her friends showed that they could jitterbug and perform ballroom dancing moves. Noah and Haley began the night dancing to Etta James’ “Sunday Kind of Love.” And We Danced DJ Entertainment opened the dance floor, and friends and family began to shake their booty to the music. Noah requested the “Chicken Dance” be played, and he shook his feathers alongside Haley, family, and friends to the timely classic. Haley’s grandfather, who is in a wheelchair, led the dancers in a conga line around the room. Throughout the night, guests were laughing, smiling, and dancing to the beat. In the end, family and friends congregated around Noah & Haley while they danced their final dance of the night.
