Brice and his attendants sported black suits embellished with a peacock feathered boutonnière. Deacon David Lapinksi performed the wedding ceremony for Michelle and Brice at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

The Graduate’s Director of Sales, Jessica (Jacoby) McCloskey, and her staff presented the guests with tempting hors-d’œuvres and a magnificent meal. Pocketful of Posies’ Emily Rickard created the beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and table arrangements with peacock colors and feathers. Dolce Vita Desserts crafted a splendid rendition of a peacock with feathers flowing down the tiered wedding cake. Michele Glunt of Cherry Lane Salon coiffed the bride, bridal party, and bride’s mother. Daniel James Photography captured those beautiful moments between the bride, groom, family, and friends throughout the night.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the crowd rocking the entire night. From the first to the last dance, Michelle and Brice were displaying their dancing moves. The newlyweds started their night dancing to Tina Turner’s “The Best.” Later, family and friends cuddled up to their mates while enjoying some slow moments on the dance floor. The crowd continued to have fun performing the dance routines for familiar line dances. Michelle and Brice could always be seen hugging, kissing, or smiling at each other throughout the night.

Thank you, Michelle and Brice for choosing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your wedding day festivities. Good luck as you begin your new life as husband and wife!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment would like to remind everybody that Small Business Saturday occurs every year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. November 27, 2021, is Small Business Saturday. As everyone knows, the day after Thanksgiving begins the biggest shopping season of the year. The best way to begin the shopping season is to patronize the small businesses that appear online or in the local community.

Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010. The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) became a co-sponsor in 2011. The traditional day for Small Business Saturday appears between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

In today’s world, many small mom-and-pop businesses have added online services to customers that formerly patronized their services but have since moved to other areas around the world. Either look online for your favorite small business or visit the store in person to begin shopping for the holiday season. Small businesses will have signs displayed encouraging people to shop small in the local community.

Statistics computed by the National Retail Foundation suggest that approximately two million more will shop between Black Friday and Cyber Monday compared to 2020. Don’t forget the local businesses in your community. They are also offering special services and deals while competing with the name brand stores services that appear online.

Besides shopping at local retailers, don’t forget the other small businesses that also reside in the region such as DJ services. And We Danced DJ Entertainment (AWD) is a small business located in State College, Pennsylvania. Music is the key to any event. And We Danced DJ Entertainment has outstanding DJs with knowledge to make any event a smashing success. We know how to pack the floor and keep everyone having fun. No event is too small to have a DJ add a special touch of music to an event.

Besides music, And We Danced DJ Entertainment (AWD) has one of the best lighting shows in the area for the dance floor. We offer our clients the opportunity to have the same lighting experience as seen in the local clubs. The deluxe lighting adds ambience with special lighting images or patterns appearing on the dance floor, walls, and ceiling of the dance floor. As the music flows, the lighting follows along creating a stupendous show of color and sound.

The first brush stroke to any event canvas would be uplighting. By adding uplighting, a venue is elevated to another level. The color scheme may fit the theme of a wedding or event, but it sets the room aglow with color and ambiance.

If you are planning a holiday party, wedding, school dance, mitzvah, or a corporate event, music is the essential ingredient to make the event awesome. Talk to And We Danced DJ Entertainment today and invest in a small business for your special event!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the honor of providing the musical entertainment for Amanda Strandburg, Ms. Pennsylvania Universal of 2021, and the Haven House Board’s Roaring 20s benefit ball for the Haven House homeless shelter that serves Clearfield, Elk, and Jefferson counties. The benefit was held at the Clearfield Elks Lodge #540. The Elks National Foundation also presented the Haven House Board with a grant totaling $3,500 to help the Haven House homeless shelter. This is the second year that Amanda has organized a benefit ball fundraiser for the Haven House homeless shelter.

Haven House resides in a residential neighborhood located in DuBois, Pennsylvania. The homeless shelter opened its doors in 2006 and has served over 800 people. Occupancy changes every day, but it averages over 70% where 18% of its residents are children. Haven House relies on donations since it is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation. It is always looking for volunteers.

Fitness is a big part of Amanda’s life. She is a Pennsylvania National Guard member who won the 2021 Ms. Pennsylvania World. She will be competing in November for the title of Ms. USA World Universal. Anyone over the age of twenty-five, married, or single may participate in the event. Amanda volunteers at the Haven House homeless shelter and the Salvation Army. Her mother was a single mom who relied on the help of the Salvation Army and other social services, so Amanda strongly wants people to know that Haven House and other social services are there to help.

And We Danced DJ Entertainment entertained quests with music; while, Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had guests showing their Prohibition spirits. Speakeasy music entertained clients with jazz. The Haven House benefit ball heard some music from the Roaring 20s as well as current popular tunes. Be it slow dancing or fast dancing, everyone had a chance to show guests their excitement and fun for the Haven House cause.

Thank you, Amanda and the Haven House Board for allowing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of the Haven House benefit ball. Good luck Amanda as you compete for Ms. USA World Universal in November!

They performed their first dance as husband and wife to Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas” which was a reminder of their first date.

The evening progressed with the traditional father/daughter and mother/son dances, followed by the removal of the garter and bouquet toss. And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of being the musical entertainment for the State College Area School District Senior Prom at Memorial Field on a sultry spring evening. And We Danced DJ Entertainment played background music during dinner and switched to memorable pop tracks for the rest of the night for an incredible dancing experience.

Memorial Field was transformed into a wonderland setting for a senior prom. Students entered the gates and descended down to the field through a balloon and tinsel festooned tunnel extravaganza. Tables were resplendent with black, white, gray or maroon linens with four place settings.

A sit down dinner was planned before dancing. During dinner, students were able to participate in a game show event. Prizes were awarded to the winners. Oxymoron, a local State College group, were the people introducing and carrying out the gaming program. While students were participating in the gaming competition, others were mingling with friends and partaking of the dessert selections, anticipating the exciting dancing that was soon to take place.

As Oxymoron said goodbye to the students, And We Danced DJ Entertainment began ramping up the music inviting the senior class to come out to the dance floor and have some fun dancing to an expertly curated dance mix. A breeze was present on the field to keep guests cool and comfortable. Sneakers were prevalent among the assembly of students on the field. Many were quick to begin to dance, while others were requesting particular songs from the DJ. It didn’t matter if the song was old or new, the crowd had fun, sang and danced their hearts out.

Thank you State College Area School District seniors for inviting And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of an exciting event! We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
