And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the honor of providing entertainment at Vince and Megan’s Wedding Reception at Above The Valley Event Center.

Vince and Megan were married in Denver, Colorado and decided to have a reception in the State College area for friends and family. 2019 was the 10 year anniversary of their being a couple, and they emphasized that their wedding reception was a celebration of their first decade together. And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the music, lights and emceeing for the evening.

Jam Band music was played by And We Danced DJ Entertainment to enhance cocktails along with upbeat music for the dinner hour. A little later, everybody was ready to have fun. Lights were turned down, and the guests began getting up and moving to the music. While some guests left the dance floor to get some fun pictures with their friends and significant others at the photo booth provided by Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths, many began to dance and move to the throbbing dance music. Guests were constantly on the dance floor dancing to their favorite tunes for the entirety of the evening with the sun setting in the beautiful valley backdrop.

Vince and Megan met working together in State College. They later graduated from Penn State University in 2013. After later spending time working in the Denver, Colorado area, Vince and Megan decided to tie the knot there. The announcement of their wedding reception in State College was an exciting surprise to all of their friends and family back home!

At the end of the night, many of the guests thanked And We Danced DJ Entertainment for a great time! We had a totally awesome time ourselves, and we thank Vince and Megan for inviting us to be the entertainment and emcees for their wedding reception. Congratulations to both of you!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of celebrating the marriage of Amber Miller to Brandon Dougherty at Earlystown Manor. Their reception followed their wedding nuptials which were performed by the godfather of the bride, Don Drass. Autumn is Amber’s favorite time of year, and she chose the season as the color theme for her wedding day. Amber wore a stunning Pine Ridge sleeveless, beaded, white gown with a white veil. Brandon sported a blue suit, white shirt and white tie. The bridesmaids were arrayed in teal, sleeveless gowns, and the groomsmen were attired with blue suits, white shirts and teal ties. Amber and her bridesmaids carried bouquets featuring white, burgundy and yellow flowers with taupe and brown floral accents. Brandon and his groomsmen were arrayed in burgundy and white boutonnieres.

Deb’s Creative Cakes and Decor crafted the beautiful three tiered wedding cake. CK’s Catering presented a delectable buffet for all to partake and indulge. Emily Lane of Emily Lane Photos was the wonderful photographer that captured the couple’s first dance and all the enchanting moments throughout the day and night. And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the stellar musical tunes for all to enjoy that night. Brandon and Amber began their night dancing to Ed Sheeran and Beyonce’s duet version of Perfect. A memorable moment occurred when Brandon escorted his mother, Donna Boring, to the dance floor for the mother and son dance. Donna has been confined to a wheel chair and spent six months working to stand for this moment. Brandon helped her stand up and they slowly danced in place to Nichole Nordeman’s Slow Down!

Brandon and Amber spent the night talking, laughing, kissing, snuggling and dancing together and with family and friends. They met and attended Cambria Heights together. It took Amber many years before she agreed to go out with Brandon on a date. They are best friends and cannot wait to see what the world has in store for them as a married couple!

Thank you Brandon and Amber for choosing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your wedding day festivities. Good luck in your new life as husband and wife!

And We Danced DJ Entertainment proudly kept the Olympic Village lively for all of the athletes, friends, family and fans that came to compete and watch the competition during the Pennsylvania Special Olympics held at Penn State’s University Park campus! Pennsylvania Special Olympics organized festivities to celebrate their 50th year. A large canvas was on display in the Olympic Village for people to sign and leave a message in commemoration of this big event. Volunteers gladly wore their gold t-shirts displaying this big achievement.

Around 2,000 athletes come each year from all over the state of Pennsylvania to compete in various Special Olympic events. And We Danced DJ Entertainment was bombarded with hellos from athletes seen in previous years. We were happy to see the smiling faces of athletes, coaches and family members as they made their way to their competition event. Athletes proudly showed off the medals awarded for first, second and third place finishes. And We Danced DJ Entertainment gladly took requests from the crowd, played some fan favorite line dances and kept the people smiling and happy traveling to and from events.

Spider-Man, Batman and Doctor Strange were on hand to cheer, pose and greet athletes traveling through the Olympic Village. Eat’n Park dispensed cookies and had an area set up for young and old to decorate cookies if they so desired. The Eat’n Park cookie could also be seen dancing, shaking hands and posing for pictures with athletes traveling through the Olympic Village. Sheetz had guests spin a wheel to win prizes. They also had large containers surrounding the Olympic Village filled with Gatorade and water for thirsty athletes, coaches and family members. The 2019 Centre County Dairy Princess, Laurel Fogleman, and 2019 Centre County Alternate Dairy Princess, Shawna Weaver, were displaying their keen dairy knowledge to athletes and parents. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar could be scene traveling through the Olympic Village shaking hands, posing for pictures and dancing to the lively tunes being played by And We Danced DJ Entertainment. Athletes could not leave on Saturday without stopping by the Panda Express booth and partaking of some delicious orange chicken.

Thank you to Pennsylvania’s Special Olympic Athletes and Committee for allowing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of the 50th Anniversary of the PA Special Olympics Event!
