And We Danced DJ Entertainment had the pleasure of providing Connor and Rachel with music and sound as they tied the knot at the Lake Raystown Resort’s Wedding Pointe Gazebo. Pastor David Stuckey performed the service uniting the two as husband and wife. The bride wore a gorgeous, white, sleeveless and lace embellished wedding gown. Her lovely entourage were attired in purple, tea length gowns with silver, beaded sandals. The groom and his men were garbed in light gray tuxes, white shirts, light gray vests and purple ties.
And We Danced DJ Entertainment got the reception rocking with the introduction of the parents of the newlyweds and bridal party. Connor and Rachel entered the reception room to a steady stream of noise that is normally heard at a football game with huge smiles on their faces. They performed their first dance as husband and wife to Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas” which was a reminder of their first date.
The evening progressed with the traditional father/daughter and mother/son dances, followed by the removal of the garter and bouquet toss. Connor put on quite a show while removing Rachel’s garter for the guests. The newlyweds also danced with guests during the traditional dollar dance. Once all the festivities were performed, the guests were invited to dance and celebrate the newly mated couple. The “Chippendales” made an appearance when Connor and his groomsmen appeared shirtless while wearing only their vests, pants and shoes. They wowed the guests with their impromptu appearance while many were quickly taking pictures of the moment.
Rachel and Connor chose purple and gray as their color choices for the event. And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the purple uplighting during the cocktail and dinner in the Raystown Lake Resorts’ lakeview ballroom. During dancing, the uplighting changed colors highlighting the magic of music in the room. Lake Raystown Resort, under the direction of Dan Gendenski, provided the delicious appetizers, dinner and late night snack for the bridal couple and guests.
The mother of the bride, Lea Ann and owner of Smart Styles hair salon in Meshoppen, coiffed the bride, bridal party, groom’s mother and herself. Mountainside Photography was the incredible photographers capturing the breathtaking moments featuring Connor, Rachel and their loving family and friends. The pièce de résistance for the day was the stunning wedding cake and cupcakes crafted by Maddie Cakes located in Roaring Spring.
Thank you Connor and Rachel for choosing And We Danced DJ Entertainment to be a part of your wedding day festivities. Good luck as you begin your new life as husband and wife!
